Its soon time for the 2010 MDLA Northland Exhibition, and were looking forward to seeing everyone. This year is especially exciting because we are celebrating the first year as the MIDWEST Dental Laboratory Association. As always, we have some new speakers, products, and techniques being represented, as well as some old friends with new ideas. We have a full schedule of educational opportunities, and plenty of time to visit with peers and vendors to exchange ideas.
You will notice that we still have business management and motivational speakers on Friday morning, but have scheduled some technical sessions both Friday and Saturday to make both days more appealing to owners, managers and technicians. The exhibit hall will again be open from Friday lunch through Saturday lunch, and there will now be a Friday afternoon reception in the exhibit hall. We want everyone to have plenty of time to spend with the exhibitors because we know its beneficial for the decision-makers within the lab. We also know how important it is for technicians to spend time in the exhibit hall analyzing how these new products and procedures could assist them in their craft and give them a better product.
Our industry is changing rapidly and MDLA is rising to the challenges presented in these tough economic times by trying to offer you educational opportunities and increased member benefits that will help make your lab stronger and more efficient. This will be a big year of change for MDLA, and our industry, and we encourage you to attend the MDLA Annual Business Meeting on Friday following the Exhibitor Reception to hear all about it.
In the pages that follow you will find a preliminary program schedule. We are still working on some additional sessions so we encourage you to check the website, www.mwdentallab.org, periodically for updates.
I hope you enjoy the MDLA Northland Exhibition 2010.
