Dear Dental Professionals – Where does the time go? The 2012 MDLA Northland Exhibition is right around the corner and it doesn’t seem possible that a whole year has passed. In fact…it doesn’t even seem like winter in the upper Midwest. We again have a full schedule of educational opportunities, and plenty of time to visit with peers and vendors to exchange ideas. We always engage new speakers, products, and techniques, but we do try to bring back old friends that have proven particularly educational. As you know, we are trying a new venue this year, Treasure Island Resort and Casino. They have many amenities, such as a great pool area, a bowling alley and large arcade so bring the family for the weekend. We may even do a Northland Friday night fun event ... bowling in the state of the art bowling complex. Of course throughout the two days we have speakers to update you on certification programs, help promote the “dental team” philosophy, and bring you up-to-date on the latest product and technical advances for all specialties. The exhibit hall will be open from Friday lunch through Saturday lunch, and there will again be a Friday afternoon reception in the exhibit hall. We want everyone to have plenty of time to spend with the exhibitors because we know how beneficial that experience is for the lab owners and managers, as well as the technicians whose input is so valuable. In the pages that follow you will find a preliminary program schedule. We will continue to add sessions so we encourage you to check the website, www.mwdentallab.org, periodically for updates.
